Founded in 2006 by Adam Hervey & Darren King, and currently owned and operated by Pauline Lay. We are an all-ages, not-for-profit arts space serving local and touring artists and musicians, as well as the people of Los Angeles. We are run by volunteers. 60% or more of your donations go directly to the artists and musicians. 40% or less of your donations go toward the expenses of the space. We were inspired and influenced by Gary and Michelle of Jabberjaw and Brooke Sauer of Timbrespace. We also honor our ancestors: 924 Gilman, The Smell, The Macondo, Huntington Beach Library, and PCH Club. Pehrspace is run under Pehr Arts Ltd. a 501(c)3 organization.
